What I Believe!What i teach |
I believe learning is a very personal thing.
I believe the process of learning can and should be as unique as each student. In my classes, I incorporate a wide variety of strategies to match learning styles and modalities, provide students with choices, and help them discover the best way for them to learn and be successful. I believe when we learn about the past, we can shape the future. I love teaching and learning! 2020-2021 Will be a year like no other as we learn online during the Covid-19 Pandemic. I will be teaching 7th Grade Honors World History. My students and I will journey back in time to discover things about the world and the cultures that shape it. We are on a journey to learn about history, but along the way, we will learn a lot about ourselves. I will also be teaching AVID and Explore 7. My students will learn the skills necessary for secondary school. We focus on note-taking strategies, organization, collaboration, goal setting, and reflection. We will be exploring current events -- there are so many things to discuss this year. I can't wait. Let's go!

I can't wait for our next adventure There is so much to learn, see, and do!
I am a curious person. I like to figure things out and solve problems.
I am a sentimental person. Tears of joy, pride, and happiness are a regular part of my life.
I am a people person. I love learning about other people, finding out what makes them tick, what they believe in and why, and how to make them smile.
